This letter I write in Falkenberg, Sweden, where I returned already some weeks ago. Although I very much miss the Spanish weather and my Spanish friends, the advantage of Falkenberg is that at last I can work again without any technical trouble with my Internet connection.

Close to the new millennium Christian Papilloud, my co-editor, and I have planned to UPP DATE the Forum and give it a NEW DISPLAY. We will try to make it easier for you to screen the contents of the articles. (Of course if YOU have suggestions which can contribute to improve the Forum in any way we will try to realize them, please let us hear from you !)

My two sons, John Patrick and Jens, help us with technical advice. Moreover Slavick and Oksana Shibayev, Russian expert programmers who live in Odessa, will help us with the programming.

• By the way do you know that the Shibayevs, already some years ago, developed an extended Szondi calculation and interpretation program? The original program is in Russian but is also translated in French. In case you are interested let me know.
• Even Bob Maebe, (roma@mail.dma.be, robert.maebe@mail.belgacom.net, rmaebe@medmail.medconf.be),  representative of the Pathoanalytical group in Belgium has a Szondi data program, however although his program includes the Pathoanalytical way of calculation it does not make interpretations.
• Rolf Kenmo, a Swedish consult, (info@humankonsult.se) has developed a Szondi questionnaire and interpretation program which is translated into English.

We plan that our new display presents the Forum articles at the same time as an 1) “open” text, which you immediately can read, and 2) in “Zip-format”, which makes it easier for you to copy the articles. However it will take some time before all the articles can be presented in this way.

We will also open a special section for Spanish and Portuguese articles. From my contacts in Brazil I got excellent news, they are very active and I hope soon to give you more details about their work. As the Spanish readers also have seen already has Luis Cibanal assisted us with two excellent translations into Spanish. Muchas Gracias, Luis!

I would appreciate if  the different Szondi groups send me some information about their activities. We can publish then this news on the Forum.

At the end of this short news letter I want again to express my thanks for the encouragement and constant support I got in the last year from my best friend Takahisa Yamashita, in Tokyo and also to Bob Maebe in Belgium for the many interesting discussions we had.
