Dear Friends,
981201
After six weeks abroad I returned, with two
week delay, at last back to
Falkenberg, Sweden. At home I found quite a lot of messages,
which have to
be read and answered. As I have in the first place to do some
work for our
firm I have not yet the time to answer each of you separately.
Therefore
herewith only a very short report about some of my experiences
during my
trip abroad.
The first weeks I lived in a little mountain village in the
Allgaeu in
Bayern where I translated and corrected some important articles,
from
French into in English, e.g. Jean Mélon's Szondi Course and the
chapters
about the Ego Vector (Sch) of Suzanne Déri.
At the end of October I visited Lausanne where I met Christian
Papilloud,
who was one of the organizers of the RES Szondi groups week-end
meeting. At
the meeting I had also the pleasure to meet some of my former
Email or
personal Szondi contacts.
There were some interesting discussions and several lectures.
(The detailed
description of this meeting will be published later by Christian
Papilloud). My own contribution was mainly concentrated on
repeating the
necessity to build up a Szondi DATA BANK.
After this weekend I spent again some time in the mountains,
still working
with the Szondi translations.
However, as I had planned to copy myself all the titles of the
Szondiana
publications at the Institute, I had to travel another time to
Zuerich in
order to start working there with that job. That was anyhow my
intention,
however when I arrived I found that already a part time employee
was
already working at the Institute with this commission (!) and was
copying
all the titles of the Szondiana articles in a data bank
(Filemaker). This
saved me a lot of time and money.
As Switzerland is a very expansive country I had soon to leave
Zuerich.
But before leaving I visited the library of the "Institute
for Angewandte
Psychologie", where I found some interesting Dissertations
about
applications of Szondi's theories. (It was Mrs Ines Grämiger,
grafalogist
and supervisor of Szondi students who informed me about this). I
hope to
give you more information later.
In the evening, before leaving, I met also Mr. Juetnner and his
wife for
dinner. He gave me the good news that he would send me the
survieuw of the
Szondiana titles to be published on the Forum. This would be then
the
first step on the way to create a data bank on the Internet,
which gives
detailed information about Szondi and can be used by anywhere in
the world.
Anyhow I will hope soon to have the time to answer your messages.
Please
have some patience
Till then, please have some patience.
Kind regards, Leo Berlips
PS. I got just a message from Mr, Friedjung Juettner who informs
me that
the MEMPHIS INTERNATIONAL SZONDI MEETING IS CANCELLED and
probably will be
hold in Belgium, summer or autumn next year. We keep you
informed!
We send you our best wishes from a wintry Sweden
